325th day.

So today's the last day of 2008. Too many things has happened this year, be it good and bad. But I had no regrets. Through the bad times, I get to be a stronger person. Through the good times, I get to see how lucky I am to have lived. Either way, I'm thankful to every person that has came into my life. Especially you. :]

I decided not to leave the house today for my time to be spent with my family. We're having a big feast for New Year's Eve, be the sushi as our main course. WOOHOO! But before we munch our way through the night, we're gonna have to go to church first. It's a Catholic thing. I'm not quite sure if Christians do the same thing (do they, Jared?).

Anyway, I have too many things to blog about. First, there's me going through the never-ending tour around Singapore with my relatives from Phil. Second, there's me daydreaming to get into NAFA. And third, there's me working two jobs starting next week. Yes, I'm a busy woman.

8:30am-6:00pm = I'll be a part-time accountant.

6:00pm-10:00pm = I'll be a part-time mediacorp surveyer.

SAY GOODBYE TO 12HRS OF SLEEP, HONEY.

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! Make everyday fruitful for 2009!

14 people in the house is crazy!

Since our computer crashed and I've been using different people's laptops to check the net, I got too lazy to blog in specific details. If many of you noticed, I've only been updating in lists. And today would be no different. :]

1. Relatives from Phil finally came to Singapore last Friday. I picked them up from the airport in the morning, and since then I've been stuck with the whole clan.

2. ....that's the reason why I haven't been hanging out with my friends much lately.

3. RGG (or more famously known as "really great guy") and I are not going so well...

4. I AM SOOOOO READY TO GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!!

5. Last friday was my last day in Mediacorp. I had to stop for awhile to spend more time with my family. I'll probably go back to work next year.

6. It's confirmed. I'm going back to Phil in May! Tagal pa, pero WOOHOO! Hahaha.

i don't do paragraphs anymore.

To wrap it all up:

1. I am now officially employed. Where, you ask? MEDIACORP, BABY. Uh, my job isn't so great, but it's definitely better than nothing. Atleast I get to see celebrities everyday! Hahaha.

2. Remember that "really great guy" I was talking about in my November 24 post? Well, I'm starting to like him too. [:

3. As all of you can see, I HAVE HAD MY HAIR CUT! I didn't cut it for more than a year, then I finally decided to do something about it. Now, it's short..... AND BROWN! Woo! Pretty me! Hahaha. So far, only 6 people have seen it personally. More would see it on prom night. [:

4. Speaking of which, prom's in 4 days! Fast, eh? Weeks flew by just like that! Luckily, I've finished my prom shopping just in time. I got my shoes, dress, accessories and clutch. The only thing I need now is that effin mask........

5. I'm soooo prepared to get high on prom night. HAHA.

well, it could be worse. i could be jobless? oh wait...

I don't want to repeat the same ol' crappy story over and over again, so if you really want to know what happened to me a few days ago, keep reading......

So, Maui Wowi called me one morning and told me that I had to be let go (I know, WTF). My colleague, Sreeram, apologized on behalf of my oh-so clueless boss, Albert, and my fcuked up employer, Tony. On Monday, I dropped by the place to return my uniform and collect my pay with Vinitha. Afterwhich, I was back to being jobless...

Thanks to Ate Karen's reference, my application in Starbucks is going through smoothly. Currently, I'm waiting for their phonecall to let me know which outlet I'll be posted. SCREW MAUI WOWI. Starbucks was meant for me (just don't prank call me again, okay bernard?).

So... what annoys me?
1. Maui Wowi asked me to stop working for TWO FULL WEEKS for nothing...
2. I could have used that two weeks to look for another job.
3. Like I said, I'm broke. MW just ruined every chance I had to fill up my pockets before prom.
4. Speaking of which, I still haven't bought my heels and accesories. DAMN, THIS SUCKS.

On the lighter side, I've been enjoying my jobless life with my friends. And you know what, I FINALLY (like, finally) realized that life without ~~Harvey~~ was much more easier. With him around, I couldn't be with the people I want to be with. Now that we're separated, I got to renew/strengthen my relationship with my friends. Who was I kidding?
I shouldn't have sacrificed my time with my friends for him. He was obviously not worth it. (:
